Lead day-to-day school age education and care services across outside school hours and vacation care.
Course Description
Our CHC50225 Diploma of School Age Education and Care trains future educators responsible for the day-to-day running of a regulated school age education and care service in Australia. Graduates plan, implement and manage programs across all areas of service operations, use specialised knowledge, and apply theoretical concepts to diverse work situations. Educators in this context work in outside school hours care and vacation care.
There are no entry requirements for this course, however students are required to undertake the Language, Literacy and Numeracy assessment and Pre-Training Review.
The ability to obtain a Working with Children Check and Police Check is required for industry work placement.
